Heidi Friedman
Heidi Friedman is a specialist in strategic corporate communications, financial
marketing and international public relations, having worked with companies on five continents. Heidi has spearheaded several campaigns that profile her extensive career.
As a savvy, tenacious and fearless communications director for one of the fastest growing educational companies, Heidi facilitated the transformation of standardized testing for students throughout the Unites States and Britain. Her analytical skills coupled with unusual passion and creativity provided thousands of students with the necessary tools to raise their SAT scores by an average of 300 points. She was awarded Princeton Review teacher of the year after having contributed to content of the first "Word-Smart" course book. Heidi masterfully promoted this book’s curriculum as well as all Princeton Review courses and materials, driving national sales for the Company.
After propelling the Princeton Review to the position of the number one standardized test preparation company, Heidi devoted her energy to the design and implementation of the Leadership Program, an outreach program that enriched academic participation and achievement for at-risk youth and developmentally delayed students in public school districts across NYC. Her persistence supported the donation of approximately $30 million that sustained the Central Park Historical Society’s not-for-profit program.
Through interactions with high-wealth individuals during the advancement of the Leadership program Heidi was led to the fast paced world of public relations and all media distributions channels. Her extraordinary sales techniques led to over $6 billion of capital-raising for her clients. She has delivered numerous sales and marketing presentations to senior business entrepreneurs, generating increased revenue as well as extensive media coverage that has now become part of her relationship-driven network.
Innovative and inspirational, Heidi has addressed executives at the Australian, Israeli and Chinese Chambers of Commerce with business and cultural sensitivity. She currently consults for domestic and overseas clients in targeted cross-border capital market activities, emphasizing growth/restructuring, implementing multinational press and media campaigns, and identifying “tailor-made” branding techniques towards heightened name recognition and number one market position. In addition, Heidi has assisted not-for-profit entities ranging from worldwide organizations to global philanthropic efforts. In September 2006, she assisted the Global Dynamic Group’s successful implementation of the Inaugural Chinese Economic Summit with former President Bill Clinton, while working at OTSAR, a non-for-profit organization for children who suffer from physical and cognitive delays. Heidi’s inexhaustible drive derives from her multi-disciplinarian skills as an innovative entrepreneur who empowers others to help themselves. In the upcoming release of her first book, “Before I Say Goodbye”, she details her last expedition to the Venezuelan Rainforest where she lived amongst a tribe of Hunters and Gatherers. The proceeds of the book will be donated to support and sustain these “forgotten people."
